Manage Staff

Org-managers can invite staff as location-managers for a specific location. Location-managers can then access admin for that location — they can manage queues and devices without needing full org-manager access.

Only org-managers can send invites. To grant a staff member location-manager access:

  1. In admin, open the location you want to grant access to.
  2. Go to the Team tab.
  3. Click Invite.
  4. Enter the staff member’s email address.
  5. Click Send invite.

The staff member receives an email with an accept link. The link is valid for 7 days. Once they click the link and complete sign-up (or sign in if they already have a Jonot account), they appear as an active team member with the location-manager role for that location.

Invites that have not yet been accepted appear in the Team page with a “Pending” badge.

To revoke a pending invite:

  1. Find the invite in the Team list.
  2. Use the Revoke action on the invite row.

The invite link is invalidated immediately. You can re-invite the same email address at any time.

Removing active members is not yet available in the UI. Contact support if you need to revoke an active team member’s access.

For full administrative access, an org-manager role is required. Org-managers are managed at the organisation level — contact your org-manager or see Organisations and Locations.
