Billing and Plans
Org-managers manage billing. Location-managers cannot access the billing settings.
Open the billing page at https://admin.jonot.io/settings/billing/.
Update your payment method
Section titled “Update your payment method”Click Update payment method to open our payment provider’s billing portal in a new tab. Use the portal to update the card for your subscription.
To view your invoice history, see Invoices below. To cancel or reactivate your subscription, see Cancel your subscription below.
Invoices
Section titled “Invoices”Click View invoices on the billing page to view your invoice history at https://admin.jonot.io/settings/billing/invoices/. The invoice list opens in the admin app. Each invoice PDF opens in a new tab.
Change plan
Section titled “Change plan”To upgrade, choose a new plan on the billing page. Checkout opens over the same page, so you stay in the app. You cannot downgrade an active subscription in the app. To downgrade, open the billing portal using the button under Update your payment method, or contact support. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period. You keep your current plan’s features until then.
Locations and devices
Section titled “Locations and devices”Both plans allow an unlimited number of locations. The first location is included in your plan. Charges for additional locations use your organisation’s peak active-location count: the highest number of active locations during the billing period. You can create and delete locations without a separate charge for each creation. When you add a location beyond the included count, the creation dialog shows the estimated additional monthly cost before you confirm.
Device limits depend on your plan. Devices include paired kiosks, displays, and desks:
- Starter — up to 5 devices.
- Pro — unlimited devices.
The Usage section shows your current usage. For locations, it also shows the price per location and an estimate for your next invoice. The estimate uses the highest location count reached so far in the current billing period. If your plan does not limit a resource, such as devices on Pro, the section shows Unlimited instead of a count and limit.
Promo codes
Section titled “Promo codes”If you have a promo or discount code, apply it from the Have a promo code? section — it appears when you have an active subscription.
- Type the code into the Promo code field.
- Click Apply.
A confirmation appears. The discount applies to your next invoice, not to the current billing period. If the code is invalid or expired, the page shows an error. The page also limits repeated attempts. If you reach the limit, wait one minute before trying again.
Cancel your subscription
Section titled “Cancel your subscription”To cancel, click Cancel subscription on the billing page and confirm in the dialog. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access until then, and you are not charged for later periods.
Jonot keeps your locations, queues, and ticket history for a grace period after cancellation. During this period, you can export your data or reactivate your subscription.
Reactivate
Section titled “Reactivate”To undo a cancellation, return to the billing page before your current period ends and click Reactivate subscription. Your subscription continues into the next period without a gap in service.
If your subscription has already ended, the billing page shows the plan picker again. Choose Starter or Pro and complete checkout to restore your subscription. Your organisation, locations, and queues remain available during the grace period.
Trial period
Section titled “Trial period”Starter and Pro plans include a free trial. Your card is stored at checkout but not charged until the trial ends. You can cancel during the trial at no cost. The trial start date and end date are shown on the billing page.
